Description
Soriana runs its logistics control tower on OVISION, a platform operated by Grupo UDA / Tracking Systems de México. OVISION lets Soriana see every carrier hauling for them on a single map, regardless of which GPS/telematics vendor that carrier uses — each provider pushes vehicle positions into one shared reception service.
This integration connects Motive to OVISION Soriana in Mexico. It polls vehicle GPS locations every 60 seconds and forwards engine on/off events, speeding events, and dashcam panic-button presses as native OVISION event codes, giving Soriana continuous visibility into Motive-equipped vehicles directly inside their existing control tower.
- No second GPS device required – Motive-equipped carriers hauling for Soriana now appear in OVISION's Torre de Control automatically, eliminating the cost and hassle of running a duplicate tracking unit just to satisfy Soriana's visibility requirement.
- Real-time, continuous tracking – Vehicle positions report every 60 seconds regardless of engine state, so Soriana can always distinguish a parked truck from one that's lost signal.
- No changes needed to existing alerting – Engine on/off, speeding, and dashcam panic-button events map directly to OVISION's native event codes, so Soriana's existing alert rules keep working without reconfiguration.
- Carrier data stays protected – Only vehicles the carrier explicitly designates for Soriana's fleet are ever shared. Carriers hauling for multiple retailers on the same Motive account don't risk exposing competitor freight to Soriana's control tower.
